Causes and Effect of The Popularity of Fast Food Restaurants

The taste which only fulfils our tongue and no good to our health is always poisoning to us. Fast food is such a poison. We can call it slow poison. It gradually affects the inner parts of our body. It shortens our life span. It is responsible for our mental agitation. Now the question is that why we the modern people are too much fond about such fast food?

In every 10 minutes distance you can easily find fast food centres. India, a developing country has now a day many fast food centres. The developed country like U.S, England, China and Japan are first in this case. Fast food restaurants now commercialized their position through their tasty items.

There are so many causes of popularizing such fast food restaurants. The first is obviously the needs of modern people who were very busy in their life style. Now in almost many families it is a picture that both husband and wife is an employee. They initially have no time to cook and it is a fashion to eat outside. Most of the people work the whole day without a lunch break. Thus they are addicted physically and mentally with fast food.

Secondly, the company’s effort to popularize their product is also helpful in this way. Now a day you find easily in every restaurant home service or home delivery is free. So public takes it as a profitable gain. Their quality of food, quick service, special taste, fun and entertainment are positive for their restaurants.

Besides this popularity fast food has some effects on our health. Most of the fast food items contain calories from refined sugar and fats. It is also high in sodium from salt and other additives which easily leads anyone to eat it more and more.

Consuming more calories than needs lead to obesity. It causes many health hazards like hypertension, diabetes, heart disease and even cancer.

Fast food now becomes a part of our culture. Once upon a time we celebrated our occasions with home-made items. But now this trend is left. Our world is too much modernized; people are drowned in the river of modernity. So even when a group of friends plan to get together; they do not come to a good visiting place but a well- known restaurant. People give importance to the fashion and not to the meaning of life.

Every individual has a view of their own to get fast food. Home delivery boxes, handsome price, conveniency, marketing are the prime cause of popularity of fast food restaurants. Anything which is too much artificial is not good to our health. Anything which is natural is always good to us. We should be more natural. Our food should be normal. It should be our first priority to eat healthy food to sustain a good health. Remember health is wealth. So to maintain this health we need some healthy habits. To decrease the amount of fast food restaurants first thing we have to do is to need a mass awareness. To convince people to eat homemade food items. They have to give proper knowledge of health and taste. Though it is a long way but one thing is sure that if we try then a fruitful result comes to us in near future.
